So the last 2 times I had sex with my boyfriend (they were about a week apart) i noticed some very light bleeding. It was aroung the time that I ovulate (don't know if that makes a difference or not) and I have also recently stopped taking my birth control pill (about 3 months).

I'm just wondering if this is something normal or if I should schedual an appointment with my doctor.

is it a constant bleeding go see the ER if not make that appointment to see ur doctor only he/she will know what is wrong and don't make love until u see the doc God bless

There are a lot of reasons but from what you've said stopping taking birth control is a very valid one.

there are many reasons for bleeding after sex which can range from nothing to some very serious things such as pelvic inflamatory disease; in your case it sounds like a minor inconvenience overall and is probably nothing, but if you want peace of mind, make an apt with the gyno.
